MAP & LOCATION

Phuket is the largest island in Thailand. At 540 square kilometres, it's about the same size as Singapore. Just over an hour by jet from Bangkok or Singapore, and with daily connections to most major Asian airports, Phuket is ideally situated for a short break or a relaxing vacation.

The Andaman Sea, separated from the Bay of Bengal by the Andaman-Nicobar Ridge, is part of the Indian Ocean. Thailand's Andaman coast extends for 870 kilometres from the Surin Islands on the northern border with Burma to Tarutao National Park on the southern border with Malaysia. Hundreds of islands are accessible to small craft from Phuket, many of them uninhabited, many of them forested and fringed with spectacular coral reefs. You often won't find a footprint on the beach.

Kata Beach, otherwise known as Kata Bay, is on the sunny Island of Phuket, approximately 1 hour's flying time from Bangkok in the southwestern region of the country.

Phuket mainly has two seasons - the wet season from April to November that provides heavy monsoon rains and can be very hot and humid; and the dry season from December to March that provides long hot sunny days.

Kata Beach is in fact not one beach but two beaches that are separated by a headland at the south end of Kata Yai Beach and the northen end of Kata Noi Beach.

Bio Paradise Cottage is a small resort in Phuket Kata Beach offering a relaxed athmosphere and complete privacy in a nature friendly environment.

Our bungalows are situated in a small but well care tropical garden, at walking distance from the nightlife of Kata Center, and just a few minutes from Kata Beach.
